Underfloor Insulation is applicable to properties with suspended timber floors, common in homes built before 1970.
Installation Process:
Insulation material (e.g., mineral wool in netting, rigid boards) is secured between floor joists.
Access is via a crawl space or by lifting floorboards.
Draught-proofing may be included for additional energy efficiency.
